Parenthood. It’s the greatest promotion, and demotion, of our lives. We used to have an exciting life and wear cool clothes. Now we make patterns out of carrots and wipe up spills with our shirt.
Our lives have been destroyed, and replaced with something much, much better. We learn to enjoy our kids bringing us breakfast in bed, while knowing the destruction that awaits back in the kitchen. Sure, some of it can suck while it’s happening. But we enjoy the retelling so much we forget the pain, and it becomes another milestone in a wonderful journey.
Each day has its ups and downs. But on the days when our child is sick, everything seems to become that much harder. Coughs and fevers mean no one sleeps much. And when our child is tired and miserable, we are, too. That’s the time when we could use a little help. A way to help our kids feel better, breathe easier, and get some rest.
Triaminic. For parents with kids.
In preparation for their OTC launch, we developed the Go Flonase campaign to let consumers know they could Go do the things they liked once their allergies were under control.

Go mobile
Go Flonase!
People with COPD struggle to get air out more than to get air in. The Big Bad Wolf was the perfect symbol of this condition. The tone of the TV is non-judgmental and accepting, as COPD sufferers already feel horribly ostracized by their family and friends.
Schizophrenia
Janssen Connect is a program to help patients stay on therapy for schizophrenia. It is marketed to both physicians and patients, though only a physician can actually enroll a patient. Much of the marketing efforts were done to help the field reps present in person to physicians.
HCP and DTC
An effective medicine that can help keep melanoma from returning after surgery. This campaign shows people re-engaging with their former activities they enjoyed before their diagnosis. It is a time of hope that remission could return things to normal.
HCP launch followed by DTC
For lung cancer, this medication truly helps patients live longer. That's big news, especially when you think about all the personal moments you would want to live longer for. The same drug also treats Kidney Cancer, Melanoma, and Hodgkin Lymphoma, which are addressed in print and patient materials following the same campaign theme.
The future of healthcare lies in genomic medicine, allowing for more personalized health. This campaign helped introduce the concept of genetic-based healthcare to the general public.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
Haem-Oncs can be so focused on remission rates they forget to look at overall survival data. Which is, in the end, the ultimate measure of success.
KEVZARA for RA
Mornings are the worst time for RA sufferers. The pain is high, and exhaustion from a poor night's sleep make it almost impossible to join in the morning activities. People with RA often feel they are missing out on their lives by not being able to get out of bed and be part of the household. Kevzara can help people take back their mornings and feel in control of their lives again.
Over the years, I’ve yelled and screamed enough about these things that I felt compelled to write them down. Sadly, I think you have to experience them yourself to truly learn them, as I am guilty of breaking each and every one of these at some point in my career.
